The Mankind Quarterly was first published from Edinburgh in the United Kingdom in the year 1961. Publication was transferred to the United States in 1979. It is now in its 48th year, and is currently published from Washington, DC, by The Council for Social and Economic Studies. For more information, see About The Mankind Quarterly.

Access to the new Full Text Electronic Version is available to libraries and other institutional subscribers who have a domain name with a dedicated IP address. The service is not available to Individual private subscribers at this time, but private individuals may subscribe to the printed version at the concession price of $42.50 per year.

Institutions that subscribe to the Printed Version can purchase access to the Electronic Version for only an additional $40.00 per year. Institutions can subscribe to the Electronic Version only (without the printed version) for $112.00 per year. See our Subscription page for complete details.
